Red Canyon is seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented Project Coordinator to join our Launch Now, Titusville-based
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform site measurements
Co-manage social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
Responsible for on-site mail collection
Proactively document project progression via photographs and status updates to owners
Assist with hiring and management of local vendors
Conduct research as requested
Complete administrative tasks
Maintain rapport with city
Perform consumer due diligence and acquire items via e-commerce
Run local errands as-needed
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal and external workers
Organizational and detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business
Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and Google Apps
Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently
Capacity to work outside of standard business hours including weekends and evening hours
Tech savvy computer owner and user
Efficient smartphone owner and user
Location mobility, must have access to motor vehicle
Physical strength to climb ladders

Red Canyon contracts with NASA, Millennium Engineering, a.i. solutions, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, United Launch Alliance, Harris Inc., and Sierra Nevada Corporation among others. We specialize in building spacecraft, developing renewable energy technologies to help make our planet a better world and cutting-edge research and development. Our disciplines include systems engineering, mechanical design, structural analysis, real time flight and ground software, simulation software, user interface software, and mission management software. We help our contractors with the full life cycle of product development from requirements to test and delivery.
Some of the programs we have previously or currently worked on include: Mars 98, Odyssey 01, Stardust, Genesis and Deep Impact, Mars Phoenix, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Orion, Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, GOES-R, OSIRIS-REx, Maven, JUNO, Grail, and the MarsFlight and LunarSIM Simulation. We also work on classified programs.
Red Canyon’s home office located in scenic Denver, Colorado, and we are very excited to expand to Titusville, Florida, with a regional satellite office! We are a small company that maintains a flat organization to decrease our overhead and costs to our customers. Our number one focus is to solve some of the most complicated engineering problems humankind is facing. We have a fun and talented team of engineers and we are committed to our engineers continued success and development.
Compensation: $15.00 – 25.00/hour
Six-month commitment required. Part-time (~10/week) in first phase of the project and will increase to full-time as the
project develops. Included in our employment package are immediate edibility for HUBZone bonus, year-end profit
sharing, and referral bonus. Red Canyon anticipates this role to become full-time as the project progresses. Fulltime work
will be accompanied by additional fringe benefits such as: health insurance, short-term and long-term disability, life and
accident insurance, and a generous 401(K) retirement plan.
